Job Description

Job Profile:

Digit88 is looking for an enthusiastic, self-motivated, hands-on Full-stack Principal Engineer to help us kickstart this new product engagement. Experience with a fast-paced India/US product start-up or a product engineering services company in a developer role, building a high-performance real-time system is mandatory. Applicants must have a passion for engineering with accuracy and efficiency, be highly motivated and organized, able to work independently taking right architectural decisions and also possess the ability to work as part of a team.

To be successful in this role, you should possess:

  • Minimum 6 years working experience working as a Full stack Python backend and React/Angular/Vue frontend developer
  • Expertise in Python, Flask, PostgreSQ
  • Expertise in Elastic Search, Caching, Queuing
  • Working knowledge in AWS or Heroku
  • Expertise in web-app development with React/Vue/Angular/Redux, HTML/CSS, Javascrip
  • Experience with system design/architectur
  • Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases. GraphDB experience is a big plus
  • Prior experience working with a product from scratch and understands the full life cycle in product development.

Additional requirements:

  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science or a related field
  • Should be able to work independently with India US-based team members.
  • Strong verbal and written communication with the ability to articulate problems and solutions over the phone and emails.
  • Strong sense of urgency, with a passion for accuracy and timeliness.
  • Ability to work calmly in high-pressure situations and manage multiple projects/tasks.
  • Ability to work independently and possess superior skills in issue resolution.
  • Should have the passion to learn and implement, analyze and troubleshoot issues.
