Job Description

    Dear Candidate,Warm greetings from Buzzworks!We are hiring Functional Test Engineer BFSI Domain for our Product Client Temenos.Role: Functional Test Engineer Capital Market / Mutual Funds / Alternative Funds Exp: 2 to 4 yrs Location: Bangalore Requirement: 2 to 4 years of proven experience in analysis role or operational role or testing role in Capital markets / Mutual fund Domain/Alternative funds (Partnership Fund, Hedge funds, Performance fee)Should possess good functional knowledge on Equity markets, Debt markets, Derivative Markets, Corporate actions, Mutual fund NAV processing and Mutual fund Transfer Agent.Post graduate exhibiting good analytical, Proactive and problem solving skills with attention to detail. Roles & Responsibilities:
    • Review and analyze system specification/ software requirements documents for testability.
    • Participate in requirement kick off meetings with product team to review functional requirements, analyze them identify gaps upfront and also get clarification ahead of freezing the requirement.
    • Translate functional requirements into relevant used case in the business, Design the test plan and enrich the test repository by baseline them.
    • Review of test scripts developed by colleagues
    • Collaborate with requirement and development teams to define impacted function and in cooperate them in test plans.
    • Perform Functional, Regression, UI and integration testing. Follow the defined test process.
    • Analyze results to match the requirement, Prepare test result document.
    • Identify and log defects in defects tracking tool (eg: JIRA). Prioritize defects.
    • Evaluate functional product coverage and identify test cases to improve coverage.
    • Perform change impact analysis and define regression test cases/ use case scenario.
    • Understand the client workflows and incorporate them in client defect testing with impacted function.
    • Root cause analysis and defect diagnosis techniques to reduce the defects rejection and leakage.
    • Automate test cases using the test automation framework (using this inbuilt tool does not need any technical skills)
    • Work with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle

    Additional skill set (good to have):
    • Basic SQL query
    • Worked on APIs and Postman
