Job Description

    • Review and process funding change, care discontinues and care interruptions cases within the correct time frame.
    • Review, investigate and correct invoice rejections from various funding bodies (includes all payers - government, third party and private insurance) for resubmission to appropriate funding sources. If rejection results in a credit or write off; initiate the corresponding submission and approval process.
    • Create, validate and submit monthly summaries and MRIs to the funding body for payment.
    • Process vendor change requests for various provincial government programs.
    • Conduct training for new Q&F staff on administrative responsibilities, funding requirements, paperwork completion. Review and identify quality gaps and support billers on administrative requirements.
    • Distribute administrative reports relating to funding and quality, conduct follow up regional/branch meetings for review of incomplete paperwork, held billing and other KPI reports as required.
    • Maintain client confidence and protect VitalAires operations by keeping all information confidential.
    • Communicate effectively with regional referral sources, funding sources (includes all payers - government, third party and private insurance), management and frontline staff as required .
    • Maintain open communication within the Finance Team and various departments across the organization. Works closely with regional branches and the billing team to ensure data accuracy and procedural compliance.
