Job Description

Coordinates all aspects of internal information system-specific projects from initiation to delivery. Projects often involve network, server, or software implementation and upgrades, PC deployment and the like.Coordinates work performed by IT staff and internal customers/partners by defining project specifications, performing feasibility and needs/impact assessments. Develops detailed project plans and manages all implementation processes including resource allocation, progress tracking, monitoring change control process, testing, documentation, training and on-time delivery within budget constraints.Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization. Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. Typically seven years of project management, product design or related experience needed., OAL runs the applications that run Oracle. ERP New Initiative is a global organization within OAL and is responsible for the Fusion Migration to the Oracle Public Cloud (OPC) program, a multi-year corporate initiative to move Oracles internal business applications to the OPC. The Fusion Migration PMO drives OALs development of custom solutions, implementation of Oracle Applications Cloud services, testing, production transition, and post go-live stability support.Responsibilities:The Fusion Migration Senior Project Manager will report to Director, Fusion Migration to the Oracle Public Cloud (OPC) program, and will be responsible for driving multiple Fusion initiatives/programs/projects at the same time to successful completion.

    • Assume the RTE role on the Oracle to Revenue (O2R) Agile Release Train (ART) and perform all RTE responsibilities in accordance with the SAFe framework throughout all program increments (PI), business validation testing (BVT), UAT, and go-live activities:
      • Engage with senior management and communicate regular program statuses
      • Track and communicate on the ARTs performance to all OAL and business stakeholders
      • Work closely with OAL ATG, product development, and other stakeholders to mitigate risks, resolve issues, and remove impediments
      • Facilitate removal of impediments to help the ART and the agile teams to deliver business values via committed PI objectives
      • Coach and mentor scrum masters for optimal team performance
      • Synchronize across the entire ART and external ARTs
Qualifications:
      • Minimum of 7 years of experience in Software Product Development or IT program/project management
      • Minimum of 4 years of experience as a scrum master, project manager, or development lead
      • SAFe implementation experience
      • Demonstrated leadership and people management skills
      • Possesses strong communication skills, analytical skills, and a thorough understanding of product development and product management
      • Excellent interpersonal skills, good with people, ability to negotiate
      • Experience with product management, software development, DevOps, CICD, and Agile methodologies
Tools:
      • Atlassian JIRA, Confluence or other Agile project management tools
Education, certification, & training experience:
    • BS degree required; MS, MIS, or MBA is a plus
    • PMI PMP, SAFe Agilest, and Certified Scrum Master are ideal
