    Job Role: SDE 1 Game Development / Backend DevelopmentEligibility: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field with strong programming and problem-solving skillsExperience: 02 yearsJob Location: Bangalore, Karnataka, IndiaCompany Profile:Gameberry Labs is a Bangalore-based mobile gaming studio founded in 2017. The company develops mobile games and has built popular titles such as Ludo STAR and Parchisi STAR, with hundreds of millions of downloads globally. It operates as a bootstrapped and profitable gaming company focused on creating engaging and entertaining gaming experiences.Gameberry Labs focuses on innovation, player experience, and scalable game development. The company provides an autonomous work environment where engineers can work on impactful gaming products, learn new technologies, and collaborate with product, development, and QA teams.Collaborate with product managers and developers to understand requirements and convert them into code.Develop clean, modular, maintainable, and well-documented software.Implement gameplay mechanics, game features, and user-facing functionality according to design specifications.Participate in code reviews and follow software development best practices.Work closely with QA teams to identify and resolve bugs and ensure high-quality releases.Contribute to improving development processes, tools, and engineering practices.Stay updated with current technologies and trends in game development.Troubleshoot and debug software issues efficiently.Collaborate with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced development environment.Skills:Strong programming skills in C, C#, Java, Python, or GoLang.Good understanding of Object-Oriented Programming concepts.Knowledge of Data Structures and Algorithms.Understanding of software engineering principles.Knowledge of version control, testing, and debugging.Familiarity with game development frameworks or engines such as Unity, Unreal Engine, or Cocos is an advantage.Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.Good communication and teamwork skills.Willingness to learn new technologies and adapt to a fast-paced environment. .
