Job Description

    The mission of the Software environment Future Offer Senior Manager is to build a prioritized portfolio of Business needs / offer concepts, related to a unique Digital Software environment, to prioritize them, to enable their technical investigation and execution, through marketing definition and exploration techniques, and to ensure their consistent usage across the Business unit.About the Software transformation:
    • Schneider Electric Industrial Automation is strongly investing on Automation engineering software such as EcoStruxure Automation Expert and companion softwares. The offer available to our customer is increasingly software based and we want to offer a strong user centric digital experience.
    • Easing Software deployment (on premise, on the cloud or in an hybrid way), managing modular installation, ensuring an efficient software versioning management, enabling collaborative usage and shared project repositories, ensuring data continuity across the extended software ecosystem are some of the key features expected in a modern software and requires a solid and consistent digital software infrastructure along web enabled software modules.
    The role of the Future Offer General Manager is to:
    • Identify, collect and constantly review customer needs and pain points from customer interview / observations. Manage such portfolio of business needs: priortitize and refine them in High-level Use-Cases with quantified values.
    • Understand and leverage Portfolio vision and exploration funnel to feed the customer needs / use-cases portfolio
    • Define offer concepts, from customer viewpoint and illustrate user experience.
    • Evolve offer concept into a Marketing story through definition of long-term vision, Unique Value Proposition, Minimum Viable Solution (MVS) and Road map.
    • Collaborate with different stakeholders, especially LoB marketing and Segments (and AVEVA Portfolio), to ensure alignment and consolidation across the Business Unit (BU) of the identified touch points, of the offer concepts & UVPs and of the Road map. The final goal is to drive consistency of the user experience across the BU and to ensure that any System transformation serves Business needs first.
    • Be embassador and evangelist of the Solution internally and externally (contributing to thought leadership and promotional messages)
    • Contribute to link those use cases with technical enablers worked by Architecture team (technology enablers / architectural enablers) and leverage this collaboration and business prioritization to confirm MVS focus and define features (and related needed performance and user experience)
    • Run iterative experimentations of the offer concepts hypothesis, with sponsorship of targeted LoB, in order to check customer interest, to enable technical feasibility assessment (in collaboration with technical teams) and to confirm business viability (through market analysis and business case definition). Final goal being to confirm hypothesis and trigger solution / offer development.
    • Suggest solution alternatives and improvements when customer pain points relate to existing solutions
    • Direct R&D execution priorities and detailing by representing customers view
    • Identify and select in our ecosystem Partners (strategic partners, suppliers, Startups, universities), which can contribute to our offer concept, leverage them in our experimentation to accelerate solution definition through co-innovation
    The Edge Infrastructure Solution Manager will report to the Industrial Automation Innovation and Upstream Marketing VP.The localization is global with a preference in one of our IA Innovation key locations (especially Bangalore, Carros, Grenoble, Andover)., * Education:
    • Technical Bachelors degree plus a minimum of 5 years of related marketing or technical experience.
    Job Related Experience :
    • We expect the candidate to bring a different vision of the way we approach our Software portfolio
    • Profile with field experiences and/or customer interaction in industrial automation is preferred
    • Knowledge about Software Automation offers is preferred
    • Offer management experience is a plus. Generally speaking experience in offer creation is preferred
    • Experience in improving User Experience and simplicity to existing offers is preferred.
