Job Description

About the business (Describe nature of business in detail): GENPACT, as part of the BFSI COE, in-sources Underwriting processes from various Accounts. The Objective of this Genpact operations unit is to tie into the overall aims of different accounts. The group aims to provide a high standard of service for Insurance Accounts and therefore its end clients. The product services include Insurance Underwriting Service processes.This role is for one of the accounts in Insurance. This role would be based out of Tikri, Gurgaon.Insurance Underwriting, Submission Clearance, Binding and Endorsements etc. are the primary activities includedLocation ( Delhi/ Gurgaon/ Jaipur/ Kolkata/ Hyderabad/ Dehradun/ Bangalore/ Mumbai):GurgaonSpecify sub location (name of office or site. Eg: Phase V , Cyber City):TikriShift time( mention work window):Mirror the business shift timingsOverseas travel required( Y/ N):Based on requirementsDesignation:PA / PDBand :5A / 5BEducation ( Eg:B.com/ BSC/ Any):Graduate in any stream (Preferred with Commerce background). MBA prefferedProfessional Qualification( Eg: CPA/ CFA):- Certified insurance person from any segment- Property and Casualty Insurance experience candidate any segment i.e. US, EU or UKJob Responsibility:- Document filing- Account Research- Document Labelling- Query and Error ManagementWork experience background required (describe work exp of suitable candidates):Must have- Should have Insurance knowledge- Ability to comprehend, good customer service attitude to clearly articulate the resolution.- Must demonstrate a high level of self-motivation, energy and flexibility- Ability to handle varied volumes of workloads and to reach targets and deadlines on a timely basis- Must demonstrate and foster customer focus, teamwork, accountability, initiative and innovation.- Must demonstrate a high level personal integrity- Good knowledge of using Excel, MS Access Database- Fluent in English language- both written and oralGood to have- Preferred with certification on one of the streams i.e. CII London i.e. ALMI, FIT or Cert CII or equivalent or AINS, CPCU certification- Exposure to specialty lines i.e.: Marine Hull, GA, K&R, Terrorism etcYears of experience( Mention Range):1-3 years of ExperienceEssential skills:- Good written andcomprehension skills- Proactive and ability to coordinate with different departments for inputs- Time Management and flexibility to work different shiftsPreferred skills:- Knowledge of Insurance Property & Casualty- MS-Office Competency
