Job Description

Industrial Automation (IA) is in the market globally.This is a Global Content Manager role, reporting to the Global Communication Manager in Business Area - India Operations Centre, Industrial Automation (INOPC IA) located in Bangalore. You will be working with process control platform and IA digital entities to develop and curate content for digital external and internal campaigns, driving digital strategy including media and tools, aligning with the ABB group digital strategy and brand philosophy to raise visibility of Industrial Automation - boost the awareness of business products, solutions, topics and initiatives, and to drive traffic and generating leads for the business.Your responsibilities

  • Planning and executing in digital space and managing, developing, curate content strategy for digital channels working with divisions.
  • Planning and executing digital-first content strategies with a content-calendar approach aligned to business and corporate-level goals and objectives.
  • Developing social media platform strategy and activities in coordination with businesses, management of social media properties, posting, responding to posts, monitoring, moderating, managing access, connecting accounts, analytics.
  • Creating and maintaining pages based on raw content provided by internal customer development and marketing automation strategy in coordination with group or regions or other divisions.
  • Involving in content management of various backend systems like contact database used for the web, document library for product documentation, product data management system for detailed product attribute data, digital asset management system for images and video, etc.
  • Measuring and understanding how the website is used with tools like google analytics and improving the site based on data-driven decisions whilst creating analytics reports for management.
  • Ensuring alignment with our style of writing and communication whilst ensuring compliance with our global web and branding guidelines and best practices.
  • Consulting and collaborating outlooks towards our digital footprint (website, intranet and social) from the lens of content along with ability to provide tangible and actionable feedback to IA content owners, globally.
  • Spreading of knowledge and information regarding new media within the organization, also training colleagues in the use of such tools, will be a member of the ABB Global Web Council, presenting needs to the group and ensuring the visibility of the division on the web.

Your background
  • Masters or bachelor s degree in marketing, communications or business.
  • Required 7-9 years of experience in project management focused around digital communication, content strategy, management and execution.
  • Required experience with proven track record and an interest in technology and digital solutions along with business knowledge in power/industrial technology is an added advantage.
  • Required experience in a web or intranet and social media focused environments, hands-on experience in content management with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM).
  • Good understanding of web editing skills and exposure in Content Management Systems (CMS) - Sitefinity is must.
  • Should have international experience with ability to create and build relationships across geographic and cultural boundaries.
