• Translate high-level business strategic objectives and goals into Enterprise IT requirements and conceptual designs.
• Develop and support comprehensive solutions that meet requirements and integrate into the overall campus / site IT architecture build.
• Participate in IT network infrastructure project design, reviews and ensure IT architecture goals and requirements and met.

• Analyze the business requirements for HPE global internal customers to design and implement large complex networks for HPE campus builds and determine their technology needs
• Ensure the successful of deployment, adoption and ongoing use of new technologies
• Assess vendor development/test strategies for various network and Telecom domains in phase 0 projects.
• Proven experience evaluating emerging technologies and incorporating them into existing or new systems
• Ability to work as an individual contributor, as a technical expert and as a participant in a team environment
• Support and collaborate on the development, implementation and administration of policies, processes and procedures to ensure the reliability, recoverability, and optimum performance of Enterprise network infrastructure systems and solutions and to ensure data integrity, change protocols, customization, usage etc.
• Develop test plans, implementation plans, and project timelines for various Global Real Estate IT projects.
• Well versed in cloud architectures, software defined networking, data center switching technologies, and securing virtual environments (AWS, Azure, Google desired)
• Write functional requirements/specifications documents.
• Establishes best practices through collaboration with IT Security and IT Infrastructure Operations
• Collaborates with IT Security and Client Services toward compliance and auditing
• Willingness and ability to travel domestically and/or internationally, if needed.
• Ability to maintain and foster sensitivity and respect for a culturally diverse work environment.
• Lead and prioritizes the work load of Global Real Estate-IT projects and development and progress of various global integration projects
• Work with senior management, the Director of Business Process Innovation, and other peers for strategy development and execution planning
• Manage technical team of FTE and contractors.
• Guide and mentor direct reports
• Work across functions with peers in other groups to ensure collaboration for shared goals
• Control budget and report on expenditures
• Assist in building relationships with vendors and creating cost-efficient contracts
• Proven ability to accomplish assigned tasks with little supervision
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills
• Demonstrated confidence with the ability to present and have customer facing conversations

Technical Qualifications

• Advanced knowledge of and experience with networking and network protocols (e.g. TCP/IP, routing, Palo Alto and Juniper firewalls, Inflobox, DNS, DDNS, DHCP, F5 LTM, SSH, VPNs), IP routing protocols including RIP, BGP, OSPF, IP Multicast, MPLS.
• Thorough understanding of modern service providers, TCP/IP data networks using standards and technologies including but not limited to: Ethernet, OSPF, IGMP, STP, RSTP, 802.1q, 802.11n, and 802.11ac.
• Experience with Policy Based Routing, Quality of Service, netflow, Wireless 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, virtual networks, NAT, ACL controls, Web Security/URL Filtering, IPSec, Intrusion Prevention System (IPS), Malware Prevention
• IPv4 and IPv6 experience is must.
• Knowledge, skills and experience with HP and Aruba routing, switching, and wireless hardware, software and protocols including Aruba Mobility Controllers, Aruba Instant Aps, Aruba Airwave, Aruba Central, Aruba Activate, Security, Aruba ClearPass
• Experience with SDN, SD-WAN products and services, Working knowledge of structured cabling systems and network facilities.
• Experience in firewall design and in network security including: Device Hardening, IDS/IPS, SIEM, Firewalls, and IPSec, vulnerability assessment and intrusion detection.
• Strong experience in devices like Checkpoint, Fortigate and Palo Alto Firewalls.
• Expertise in configurations of rules, routing, Natting, policies and profiles in Firewalls.
• Plan, implement and documented change of services including hardware replacement and enhancements.
• Establish and maintain IPSec-based connectivity with external vendors
• Good experience in migrating the VPNs from legacy to new NGFW firewalls
• Experience in design and deployment of forward and reverse proxies
• Strong experience in F5 Load Balancers in terms of VIP/Nodes/Pools/NAT/route configurations
• Produce and maintain timely, accurate engineering documentation to support implementation, operations support and quality/compliance requirements.
• Enhances security team accomplishments and competence by planning delivery of solutions; answering technical and procedural questions for less experienced team members; teaching improved processes; mentoring team members.
• Determines security requirements by evaluating business strategies and requirements; researching information security standards; conducting system security and vulnerability analyses and risk assessments; studying architecture/platform; identifying integration issues; preparing cost estimates.
• Plans security systems by evaluating network and security technologies; developing requirements for local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WANs), virtual private networks (VPNs), routers, firewalls, and related security and network devices; designs public key infrastructures (PKIs), including use of certification authorities (CAs) and digital signatures as well as hardware and software; adhering to industry standards.
• Implements security systems by specifying intrusion detection methodologies and equipment; directing equipment and software installation and calibration; preparing preventive and reactive measures; creating, transmitting, and maintaining keys; providing technical support; completing documentation.

Education and Experience

• Master s degree in Business Management
• Bachelor s Degree in Computer Science, Network Engineering, Information Technology or equivalent industry experience.

• 10 years of progressive experience in network architecture, design, engineering and implementation in global IT networks and network security
