Basic Purpose of Job:State Street is seeking a Senior Associate level employee to join the Regulatory Reporting Governance (RRG) team. The RRG team is responsible for the governance and oversight over regulatory reporting. Some of the key responsibilities for the RRG team include: assisting process documentation, enhancing internal controls, implementing change management, providing regulatory reporting focused training, reporting issues and/ or reporting metrics to senior management, monitoring regulatory reporting related policies, Attestation program coordination and other ad hoc regulatory reporting projects. This position will provide visibility to regulatory reporting and beyond, since the RRG team works with numerous functions with State Street to drive changes in the regulatory reporting process.Responsibilities & Tasks Include: As a member of the Regulatory Reporting Governance team, the Senior Associate will work on the following:Coordinate attestation program for CCAR and Basel Onboard new attesters and set up quarterly training Assist in the execution of the governance framework over regulatory reporting globally Create/ review regulatory reporting process flows for US, EMEA and APAC processes Monitor checklist and training compliance Assist preparation of materials to be presented at the quarterly All Hands Meetings Compile and analyze performance metrics as part of the regulatory reporting scorecard framework Assist with issues management (tracking and reporting) Job Requirements: Education and Experience Bachelor s degree required, preferably in accounting, finance, or economics 4- 6 years of progressive experience in banking or financial services Proven track record of advancement and business success Financial services Risk Management, Regulatory compliance and Reporting experience Experience in data analysis, including Microsoft Excel for data extraction, analysis and transformation Skills/ Knowledge Subject matter expertise in accounting and finance with strong technical knowledge of financial services industry accounting and reporting preferred Process quality control management experience Ability to understand and document business processes Ability to develop process maps Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Word, Visio) Knowledge of the financial services Regulatory environment Understanding of Regulatory Reporting Frameworks (e.g. Basel rules, Sarbanes Oxley, Dodd- Frank) Direct experience with Regulatory Reporting preferred Knowledge of financial instruments and financial institution operations Exceptional written and verbal communication and presentation skills High level of interpersonal skills and integrity Ability to coordinate and communicate across multiple levels of management Complex problem solving expertise Deadline focused with ability to adapt under pressure High degree of attention to detail and focus on error- free execution,
