Job Description

    The Cloud Developer builds from the ground up to meet the needs of mission-critical applications, and is always looking for innovative approaches to deliver end-to-end technical solutions to solve customer problems.Brings technical thinking to break down complex data and to engineer new ideas and methods for solving, prototyping, designing, and implementing cloud-based solutions.Collaborates with project managers and development partners to ensure effective and efficient delivery, deployment, operation, monitoring, and support of Cloud engagements.The Cloud Developer provides business value expertise to drive the development of innovative service offerings that enrich HPEs Cloud Services portfolio across multiple systems, platforms, and applications.Management Level Definition:Applies intermediate level of subject matter knowledge to solve a variety of common business issues. Works on problems of moderately complex scope. Acts as an informed team member providing analysis of information and limited project direction input. Exercises independent judgment within defined practices and procedures to determine appropriate action. Follows established guidelines and interprets policies. Evaluates unique circumstances and makes recommendations.Education and Experience Required:Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent.Typically 1-3 years experience.Knowledge and Skills:Experienced in Cloud domain with development experience in Python/GoLang/shell scriptsExperience in Machine Learning and Data Science tools like Spark, Kafka, Streaming, Data pre=processing toolsets - sql, hive, spark MLLIBExpertise in development of micro services and deploying this on Kubernetes environmentIn depth knowledge in Kubernetes, ISTIO service mesh is preferredExperience in public cloud services such as AWS, GCP or Azure is desirableSkilled in developing micro-services for SaaS offerings Implementing Monitoring, supporting, DevOpsUnderstanding and work experience in GitOps, Devops, CD/CD tooling, concepts of package management software, software deployment and life cycle managementHands on experience in Docker, Kubernetes- Set up and administrationKnowledge of Observability stack: Prometheus, Kibana, Grafana etcExperience in architecting software deployments, scripting, deployment tools like chef, puppet ansible, orchestration tools like TerraformKnowledge of cloud monitoring tools - Logz, ServiceNow, OpsRampGood to have Enterprise Data Center Infrastructure knowledge (Servers, Storage, Networking)Should be able to work in a fast-paced, iterative development methodology (Agile-SCRUM).Experience or understanding of software systems design tools and languages.Good analytical and problem-solving skills. Understanding of design for software systems running on multiple platform typesGood written and verbal communication skills; mastery in English and local language.,
