As a leader, you support change and help solidify new clinical operations models. You will oversee supporting activities in the area of study management, data management and Biosamples operations for the conduct and delivery of development, peri- and post-launch clinical activities globally for the entire clinical portfolio covering full life cycle. In collaboration with the respective functional heads, you define and implement the strategy for our development operations Center of Excellence in India. You represent SBDO at the R&D LT in India and maintain excellent relations with key local stakeholders. You ensure alignment of local clinical activities with global clinical operations strategy. Who you are:

  • You graduated in advanced life science (e.g., Biology, Chemistry, Pharmaceuticals, MD degree or business)
  • You have >10 years extensive professional and substantial management experience in drug/Clinical Development and/or Clinical Operations Experience either in Biopharma or CRO
  • Ability to lead, integrate and manage multidisciplinary groups and work in a matrix organization and in a global setting
  • You have a track record of delivery of development, peri- and post-launch trials (within time and budget constraints)
  • You have strong leadership skills
  • You have strong communication, negotiation and issue resolution as well strong interpersonal skills
  • You are experienced in change management
  • You are fluent in English (oral and written)
  • You are able to travel both domestic and international up to 30% of time
