In this key strategic role, your remit will cover all aspects of our IT Operations within India, with a particular focus on: Main Duties and Responsibilities General - You will act as a central point of management contact/ escalation and oversee all IT operations activities within India, ensuring performance to agreed Service LevelsPeople - You will have responsibility for the recruitment, development, training and leadership of a team (s) of multidiscipline technical resources (e.g. Desktop, Server Platform, Network, Database) Information Security - You will protect the availability, privacy, and integrity of our dataCompliance - You will ensure delivery to relevant standards (e.g. ISO 27001, 9001) Supplier Management - You will perform regular supplier reviews to ensure value for money. Benchmarking service provided against other similar suppliersBudget Control - You will deliver to the IT budget, reviewing and achieving cost saving where possibleLicensing and asset controls - You will ensure processes are followed to control company assetsBusiness continuity - You will define, develop and document procedures to deliver Business continuity in the event of an accident, disaster, emergency, or threatThe Requirements Youll be a strong leader excited by the challenge of working in a high- performing, fast- growing technical environment, supporting a diverse range of technical users. You will be able to demonstrate: Previous experience of delivering large- scale IT Operations services in a complex business environmentStrong technical expertise along with leadership and communication skillsA practical understanding of gathering business requirements & scoping relevant solutionsEffective skills to communicate with the leadership community, third- party Suppliers and internal / external technical teamsStrong consultancy skills and the capacity to be an excellent motivator in order to meet deadlines and handle changeSignificant experience in ITIL disciplines,
