We achieve this with deliberate efforts to build a data and deep tech-driven platform to power our supply chain.Position Overview: A Captain to lead our Aquaculture sourcing team.Roles and Responsibilities:- Coaching, training, and developing a team of Sourcing Executives across South India to improve competencies and effectiveness - in the areas of Customer Management / Meeting Effectiveness and Field Implementation- Keep up-to-date on market pricing trends and ability to leverage that knowledge for negotiating the best price- Develop relationships with farmers, agents, and traders and on-board them on to our ecosystem- Ensure fulfillment to distribution centers throughout the year- Review and approve purchase invoices- Develop a comprehensive territory plan for India and implement strategies to penetrate target accounts- Responsible for taking part in managing short-term and long-term strategies that will ensure the growth and profitability of the company.- Proactively recruits new qualifying partners and focuses on strategic business expansion.Key Requirement:- 5-10 years of experience in the seafood sector.- Preferred experience in fish feed sales or purchasing/sourcing background- Identifies, builds, and uses a wide network of contacts with people at all levels, internally and externally- High on ethics and transparency- Self-starter, entrepreneurial attitude with a high level of ownership- People management: Ability to handle manpower in an effective way and specify tasks and effective utilization of the available resource,
