Job DescriptionAbout the role:We are looking for an Architect (8 -15 years exp) to join our fast-growing product and SaaS Management solution,As a Platform Architect, you will be working with Technical Product Managers, business stakeholders, and customers to design and develop products with a strong emphasis on architecture, scalability, and efficiency. Contribute to platform architecture vision. Drives and owns multiple technology initiatives for Align Create and deliver on the long-term road map for engineering efficiency. Design and develop high-volume, low-latency applications for mission-critical systems, delivering high availability and performance. Be the go-to person for non-functional requirements such as scalability, performance, or security. Make recommendations on technical improvements to deliver consistent value while ensuring throughput and quality code are in line with expected goals. Attend and facilitate agile ceremonies such as scrum, retrospective, grooming, and planning to promote good processes and help the team focus on the delivery of value. Coach and mentor engineers and support an inclusive process, ensuring all engineers understand the architecture and tools. Consult on complex dependencies between teams with creativity and transparency that need to be met in order to achieve a business goal. Identify gaps in core technologies and help select solutions to fill these gaps. To technically lead software projects through all stages of the life cycle, including responsibility for requirements capture, design, development, and acceptance testing Mentoring Managers and developers on technology and process aspects relevant to the project at hand and leading the product development team to help continually refine and improve development processes and standards Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to mitigate and address these issues. Help define and maintain guidelines to deliver the end-to-end solution in the agile execution environment. To decompose technical tasks and provide accurate estimates Work with testing specialists to devise automated tests and monitoring tools. Configure and manage the deployment of applications in pre-production and production. Coordinate technical solutions across development teams.Required Skills, Competencies & Experience: A proven understanding of industry-standard software development life cycles Hands-on experience with microservices implementation/transformation Experience with designing database models and database infrastructure for highly scalable products Advanced troubleshooting and debugging techniques. Knowledge of database platforms, including SQL/ NoSQL, performance optimization, transactional, and DR concerns. Extensive experience in cloud computing platforms like AWS, GCP or Azure Strong proactive communicator and presenter, able to influence and collaborate at all levels of an organization to maximize problem resolution and effectively present information and respond to highly specialized technical questions Experience with designing database models and database infrastructure for highly scalable products Proficiency with containerization, virtualization and orchestration technologies like Docker, Kubernetes etc will be plus. Exposure to tools such as OAuth, REST, RDBMS, Kubernetes, Kafka. Good Analytical and logical skills. RESTful services, API design, and development Knowledge of metaprogramming in Ruby Experience with web technologies Rails, Java, Phyton, Linux, Elastic search, Redis Knowledge of JavaScript frameworks (e.g. Angular, React, Node.js) Familiarity with databases (e.g. MySQL, Oracle, MongoDB), and UI/UX design Exposure to setting up and using CI/CD will be a plus.Personal Skills You care how people feel and actively work to increase their motivation You inspire others to do more than expected You create trust and psychological safety around you Good proven investigative, communication, and interpersonal skills Creatively seeking and suggesting improvements and best solutions.
