Job Description

  • As a BMC AO Developer would be responsible for overall automation enablement involved development of new functionalities and also maintaining/improving the existing functionalities. Role involves interaction with different area Managers/Leads and Customers for finding automation opportunities.
Key Roles and responsibilities
  • Knowledge in PowerShell (Mandatory). Good to have Knowledge in c#, python
  • Experience calling PowerShell script file/individual commands using adapter
  • Providing 3rd / 4th line Technical Support
  • Problem Isolation and Troubleshooting
  • Knowledge of Databases, Linux/Solaris, Networking concepts
  • Directly manage or provide strong oversight to customer support issues
  • Proven ability to work in a pressurized support environment
  • Minimizes the backlog and aging of support issues without the need for the customer to escalate issues to see progress
  • Provide implementation and post implementation customer support for customers
  • Proactively manage technical relationship according to the customers business priorities with an eye to avoiding business-critical situations and maximizing the solution value
  • Educate customers on known product issues that could affect the implemented solution
  • Good experience of troubleshooting the BAO environment issues including code and application level.
  • An ideal resource will have worked on various versions of BAO including 7.6.x, 7.7.x and 7.8.x
  • Must have knowledge of XPATH, XSLT
  • Must have knowledge of SOAP, REST WebServices
  • Understanding of all out of the box AO Adapters and Modules
  • Experience of Integration withBMCAction Request (Remedy) usingAtriumOrchestratorthrough Adapters and Web services would be preferred
  • Must have good knowledge of AO Web Services
