Principal AccountabilitiesApplication Holistic Management 60% Ensure compliance with all health, safety and environmental legislation and best practice for all aspects of decommissioning works Recommend strategy for the removal of offshore platforms as well as subsea protection structures or onshore plant when required Implement the agreed dismantlement strategy, inclusive of but not limited to: tender preparation and evaluation, contractors management, engineering review and validation, planning of resources, execution of activities and close-out. Define preparation works required to prepare the platform ahead of dismantlement and support the implementation of the plan with the offshore combined operations management team and the onshore LDE - Operations Review and validate lifting analysis, global temporary in-place analysis, motion & transport analysis, sea fastening design, towing and anchoring analysis in line with appropriate codes and standards Act as a focal point for all structural related works in the decommissioning department Support the Decommissioning Compliance and Assurance team into the definition of the decommissioning strategy for platform dismantlement; provide adequate engineering support to ensure validation. Lead the implementation of the management of change (MOC) process for all relevant decommissioning activities. Lead engineer(s) and develop their abilities in the decommissioning area Continual development of methodologies / strategies. Assess potential use of alternative technologies in order to reduce decommissioning costs. Manage contractors where required & provide operational interface to operations as necessary Carry out cost estimates for forthcoming decommissioning projects Develop AFE documentation for dismantlement projects Be able to prepare and present decommissioning strategies/costs to PUK senior management and platform partners to enable AFE approval. Lead the tendering process and review of proposals for relevant works in order to recommend most suitable contractors Support contract negotiations following tendering of scope of work Develop the required part of the Decommissioning Programmes and manage the performance standard review process in accordance with the various stages of the decommissioning process Consulting & Partnering 30% Develop and maintain long term business domain knowledge with Infra, Application team and IT/ITSM team Prepare status and deliverables with focus on quality to function and key audiences. Consulting approach. Partner across global virtual teams across Functional Analysts, Business Analysts, Value Enablers, Technical teams, other Solution Architects, Enterprise Architects, Infrastructure teams, and vendors to ensure alignment with projects, programs and strategies, and standards. Both in Portfolio, Other Portfolios and Regions.Other Project Delivery Responsibilities (may include some or all of the following) 10% Manage workload and priorities to deliver agreed upon project milestones Prepare and/or perform quality reviews of high and detailed level estimations of effort in order to achieve a preferred solution. Manage knowledge to portfolio SharePoint to ensure integrity of design, changes and training deliverables across stakeholdersEducation, Experience, SkillsRequired QualificationsBA/FA in Business, IT, or Computer Science or equivalent10 to 15 years of IT and business / industry work experience5 years experience in decommissioning engineering and operationsArchiving tools knowledge like AWS, Info Archive and Open Text3 to 5+ years of Infrastructure operation, Analysis and configuration expirienceAt least 1 year of experience on data analysis and trend analysis.Strong collaboration and team handling capability.Accountable for decom contribution to P&L performanceExperience working with and influencing 3rd party software providersAbility to Deliver Results (Quality & Benefits)Demonstrated ability to be successful in ambiguous situationsDemonstrated experience managing cost/quality/schedule controlsExperience working in a global, matrixed, leveraged organizationDirect required follow-up activities with Internal IT, Engineering and Operations Groups to meet business requirementsWorking knowledge of data and process modellingStrong data analysis, visualization and communication SkillsUnderstand database concepts like DBMS, ETL and SQLBuild and deliver across global virtual teams.
