  • Graduate degree. Degree in Engineering is preferred but not mandatory.
  • 10 - 15 years of experience in managing technical/technology projects or operations that involved planning transformation projects, execution, reporting and multi-stakeholder management
  • Must have worked in a captive/Global Inhouse Center/Global Capability Center/Global Shared Service/Global Business Service setup that involved technology (preferably application development). 30% - 50% of the work experience should be in this environment
  • 50% of the above experience must in an execution owner capacity for significant, multi-stakeholder projects that resulted in transformation. These must be projects that were executed and not just planned.
  • Experience in Process Optimization, six-sigma etc. will be an added bonus
Skills & Competencies required
  • Implantation focus and get-it-done attitude.
  • A proven ability to lead and achieve results through influence (as opposed to falling back on a chain of command). Strong ability to build consensus.
  • Strategic thinking to recommend, design and implement programs by taking a data driven approach.
  • Proven application of project management and change management skills
  • Strong communication skills (both written and verbal) and interpersonal skills at a senior management level (the position shall interact with key senior leaders across the company)
  • Ability to build relationships and influence all levels within an organization
  • Conflict Management
  • Ability to handle multitasking environment, meet deadlines, and work with a wide range of sensitive and confidential issues
Summary of ResponsibilitiesThe position is responsible for supporting important transformational programs how Clarivate delivers against its technology goals both globally and in India.Responsibilities will include participation in design and playing a critical role in implementation of programs that are transformational in nature. The nature of responsibilities will require working across several stakeholders in technology, HR and finance. Building consensus to a point and then executing with known gray areas is a key aspect of this role. Our programs will create change and hence change management is a key expectation. Our decisions are data driven, leading up to requiring solid analytical skills and the ability to present succinctly with data (we hate to call it MIS). At Clarivate we operate with optimum transparency and trust the manager (this position) will have to build and nurture relationships both locally and globally.This individual will be a highly effective hands on manager who feels at ease both at planning and in-the-weeds execution. The individual will work on a portfolio of projects and ensure momentum, achievement of goals and clearly address impediments and blockers. There must be a proven track record of planning and executing complex projects in operations within a technology function.
