Job Description

Hiring for MYSQL DBA at Bangalore A Product Based Client of I Square softRole DBAExperience 8-10 yearsEducation: B.Tech / B.E Location BangaloreMust Have:

  • Expertise in MYSQL design, deployment, performance tuning and troubleshooting
  • Expertise in Improving system performance by conducting tests, troubleshooting and integrating new elements
  • Optimize new and current database systems
  • Experience and certification in Postgre, Vertica or other DB will be added advantage
  • Migrate data from legacy systems to new solutions
  • Design conceptual and logical data models and flowcharts
  • Define security and backup procedures
  • Experience with the programming language and API Preferred
  • Experience with software engineering practices (source code management, unit/functional/integration/performance testing)
  • Experience with Linux OS, any distribution, RHEL/Centos -- preferred
  • Experience of Agile and DevOps preferred
  • Part of DB community providing resolutions, design guidelines, troubleshooting tips and blogs
Desirable:
  • Hadoop ecosystem (HDFS, Spark, Hive etc.) including NoSQL technologies (Hbase, Cassandra etc.) and streaming technologies (Kafka, Spark Streaming, Storm etc.) in Data Management/Strategy and Data Architecture
  • Experience in participating (or leading for more senior roles) in a big data architecture assessment and planning activities
