Job Description

    The selected candidate will be taken as a Design Engineer in Project Engineering Group. Candidate shall be part of Engineering team handling Plant Engineering / Utilities / Machine Building activitiesPosition : Design EngineerLocation : BengaluruQualifications : Bachelor in Mechanical EngineeringExperience : 3 5 YearsJob Responsibilities / AccountabilitiesDeveloping conceptual designs for Plant Engineering and Utilities for the plant based on customer requirements.Output in the form of drawings and documents related to Plant Engineering and Utilities Plant Engineering (Layouts)Piping design & EngineeringUtility Sizing calculationsHydrant & Sprinkler system basicsDust Collector SystemAll system Design should confirm to QMS & EHS and statutory regulations.Working knowledge - 2 D drafting services (AutoCAD), 3D modelling is added advantagePreparation of tender documents for procurement actionCoordination with cross functional team for site activities.Procurement for project requirement:Identify competent and approved vendors for each supply & Services.Floating RFQ and prepare Technical and Commercial BID evaluation & Recommendations.Coordinate with Purchase & Logistics team and support in ensuring delivery as per procurement plan. Review the progress of project deliverables and take corrective action as necessary.Ensure Inspection clearance complying with all quality standards of PEG.Site management:Support in ensuring Installation is in compliance with PEG Standards.Coordination for submission of documents for statutory approvalsSupport in Commissioning projects as per check listTraining and handing over to the customer teamTravel anywhere for long & short periodsPeriodical reportingReleasing the progress report for submission to Functional HeadsProject closure Report.Behavioral:Cultivate Customer IntimacyBe an EntrepreneurInnovativeBe AgileBuild an Open & Engaging Culture
