A hospitality manager is an individual who has to oversee and direct all the operations of providing various facilities in a hotel, resort, motel, casino etc. They supervise and coordinate various tasks like housekeeping, food and beverage, room service, front office and other routine operations. They ensure that the guests have an excellent staying experience and the activities in respect to serving the guests run smoothly. The finance controller, human resource manager and housekeepers of the hotel need to report to the hotel manager. A hospitality manager also has to communicate and develop the standard procedures of operation and set standards for excellent customer service.
