Job Description

    Hire Hybrid Cloud Integration Specialist ,Premise of a hybrid cloud solution often revolves around the following topics, Enterprise Agility Cloud native experience for developers and operators Platform story led by a single integrated fabric that is core to a hybrid cloud strategy that removes org silos Common skills, processes, practices, and tools Integrated applications and data AI for the enterprise Enterprise Automation Security and Quantum Safe AIOps (Cloud native observability and management automation)At the core of all of this is the modern mainframe platform (IBM z16 and the likes) running z/OS or Linux on Z (or a LinuxOne box).As SIs help customers take a leap into the future, we would like to work with them to build their solutions based on hybrid strategy and deliver projects to deploy those solutions and therefore create skills to be able to do that. Goal here is to employ solution architects that work with GSIs to help them create solutions, successfully engage with the customers and create skills in volumes in their delivery teams to be able to address customer needs and respond quicklyYour Role and Responsibilities Hybrid Cloud Specialist would primarily perform one or more of the following,
    • Assist in Co-creation of solutions along with GSI partners, GSI Labs and Z OMs
    • (addressing client pain points, accelerator needs)
    • Development of customizable solution offerings covering various SI
    • personas
    • Support in SI consumable collateral, Frameworks, Accelerators etc. that are
    • subsequently customized by SIs for their use.
    • Assist in creation of Industry solution accelerators (working wth Architects and Industry OMs).
    • Participate in activities of Education / Enablement of SIs with analysis ,proposed solution on the skills and offerings
    • Support Sis during internal or client POCs
    • Support joint technical engagements with clients.
    Required Technical and Professional Expertise Common skill requirements for solution architects:
    • 3+ years of industry experience with preferred experience on Hybric Cloud .
    • Specialized technical knowledge in the field of cloud technology in one or more of the major cloud providers
    • Established strength of being able to engage with clients and communicate effectively
    • Prior experience of working with a system integrator/clients and offerings is a plus.
    • Good knowledge of trending technologies e.g. Cloud, AI, Security
    • Hands on with technology and being able create demo assets and showcase to customers, conduct PoCs and assist in enablement sessions
    • Ability to interlock, understand and engage with various stakeholders to create value prop, content and assets to drive skills, capabilities and expertise for client engagements.
    Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise Hybrid cloud integration architect:
    • Working knowledge of cloud platforms, cloud services that are a key part of REST API driven integration architecture.
    • Specialized technical knowledge in the field of cloud technology in one or more of the major cloud providers
    • Good knowledge of OpenShift, Cloud and container technologies, Knowledge of cloud paks is a plus.
    • At least 3-5 years experience in cloud technology.
    • Hands on experience in API Management REST APIs knowledge of API runtimes, API gateways, Security, DevOps for APIs
    • Strong cross functional knowledge (network, database, webservices, AI, Infrastructure)
    • Eager to learn and stay up to date on the fast-evolving cloud environment
    • Database and z/OS skills are a plus
    • Programming/scripting skills are a plus
    • Certification on any Cloud Platform is a Must.
