Job Description

PayPal is looking for IAM Engineer to help PayPal Mergers & Acquisition team to make M&A process more efficient by expediting the IAM Integrations. The engineer will be responsible to design, deploy, configure and implement the deployed Identity & Access Management solutions based on M&A s requirements (mainly Single Sign On). This role is based in Bangalore, India.Desirable exposure: Application and infrastructure governance, experience with legacy on-premise or modern cloud IGA offerings & SSO tool sets, extensive hands on development, customization and solution experience on one or more Identity Management solution suite, depth of understanding in Identity Management and Governance use cases, Single Sign-on Technologies etc.If you like fast paced and challenging environment in IAM, you ll enjoy PayPalResponsibilities:

  • Help Mergers and Acquisitions processes by integrating the mergers applications to PayPal IAM platform
  • Participate in meetings with M&A team in designing and planning the M&A IAM Integrations
  • Deploy the SSO solutions using SAML2.0, OAuth and OIDC protocols
  • Design, deploy, implement and integrate IGA with critical applications and infrastructure
  • Create and Document solutions, designs, proof of concept and implementation
  • Follow approved life cycle methodologies, create documentation for design and testing
  • Interact/coordinate with customers as required
  • Resolve technical issues through debugging, research, and investigation.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor s/equivalent in Engineering
  • 5-8 years of industry experience in design, development, customisation, configuration, deployment of any Single Sign On and Identity Management and Governance products
  • Hands on experience with Java based technologies, Microservices
  • Thorough understanding of common authentication standards (OAUTH, SAML, FIDO, etc)
  • Experience in PingFed, PingID with Passwordless or WebAuthn implementation will given preference
  • Experience of working on the implementation of ZeroTrust Access solution will be given preference
  • Thorough domain knowledge on the below areas of IAG
    • User Lifecycle Management, Provisioning and Reconciliation
    • Auditing, Reporting and user activity Monitoring
    • Access Certification
    • Cloud Security
  • Java/J2EE and SQL knowledge
  • Knowledge of Web Services (REST/SOAP)
  • Knowledge of protocols like SAML2.0, OIDC, OAuth 2.0, WebAuthN, SCIM
  • Experience in Unix Shell, Batch Jobs
  • Must be able to thrive in a fast paced, high energy environment
  • Ability to work independently, adapt quickly, and maintain a positive attitude
  • Strong get it done attitude
