Job Description

As a Software Engineer III at JPMorgan Chase, within Invest data and Risk in Asset and Wealth Management team, you will join hands with us in solving business problems through innovation and engineering practices, owning, and driving key pieces of the platform. Your expertise in various technology domains will be counted on to set strategic direction and solve complex and mission critical problems. Embracing leading-edge technologies and methodologies inspires your team to follow suit. Collaborating with our network of global technologists will enable you to deliver diverse and inclusive software solutions.Job responsibilities
    • Expertise in application, data, and architecture disciplines
    • Proficiency in multiple modern programming languages: Java, Spring
    • Technical proficiency in Java 11 +, Spring, JPA, Spring Boot , GraphQL , Kubernetes .
    • Hands on experience developing and deploying applications to cloud platforms preferably Gaia Kubernetes and/or AWS
    • Experience with Oracle database
    • Experience with distributed streaming platform (Kafka)
    • Experience in DevOps - build, deployment, integration, code management and similar tools like Jenkins, Maven, automated deployment etc.
    Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
    • Hands-on practical experience in system design, application development, testing and operational stability
    • Experience in developing, debugging, and maintaining code in an enterprise environment with one or more modern programming languages and database querying languages
    • Familiarity with modern front-end technologies
    • Overall knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle
    • Solid understanding of Agile methodologies such as CI/CD, Applicant Resiliency and Security
    • BS computer science degree or equivalent experience Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
    • Familiarity with modern front-end technologies
    • Exposure to cloud technologies
