Job Description

JOB TITLE: Industry Process Expert (DraftSight) WorldwideLOCATION: Bangalore/ChennaiAs a member of the Industry Consultant Team at Dassault Systemes India, the Industry Process Expert would have to articulate, demonstrate and prove the value of the DraftSight Solutions to our prospects/customers to support the revenue plan. Industry Process Expert is responsible for providing comprehensive pre-sales technical support, working closely with Sales Managers across various locations to achieve the business goals. He/she is also responsible for providing support for marketing activities to generate leads. Additionally he/she has to maintain major account relationships with strategic customers & prospects of DraftSight globally.The challenges ahead:The responsibilities include:

  • Provide comprehensive Technical Pre-sales Support for DraftSight Solutions by understanding customer requirements & position solutions accordingly.
  • Deliver product presentations to prospects at both the end user and senior management level.
  • Present DraftSight products in live-demos during tradeshows and seminars
  • Organize and manage technical sales seminars across the globe
  • Organize workshops, trainings for VAR Technical Engineers
  • Coordinate Technical Support activities with VAR and SOLIDWORKS Tech Support group to increase technical services quality and improve customer satisfaction
  • Work closely with DraftSight Marketing teams to engage in sales lead generation activities.
  • Create Content to support field marketing activities (Demos, Videos, Technical articles etc)
Your key success factorsEXPERIENCE: 12-15 years of technical experience or relatedEDUCATION: Hold Bachelor of Engineering Degree (Branch Mechanical/Civil/Arch)Required Skills:
  • B.E/B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering
  • Total Work experience is 12 to 15 years out of which should have worked in Industry for minimum 5 years (AEC or Manufacturing)
  • Atleast 9 to 10 years of work experience in AutoCAD
  • Knowledge in , ZW CAD, BricsCAD would be a plus
  • Knowledge in LISP, VISUAL LISP would be an advantage
  • Work experience or knowledge in C++ Programming is a plus
  • Exposure to 3DCAD is a plus
  • Digital content production expertise
  • Experience in providing technical sales support for software products similar to DraftSight product offering.
  • Knowledge of products that are competitive to DraftSight product portfolio
  • Proven strong verbal & written communication skills as well as excellent customer relations skills
  • Must have strong technical and business vision with excellent presentation and communication skills
  • Must be fluent in reading and writing in English. Regional language knowledge is a plus
  • In addition, the candidate will also possess the ability to function in a team atmosphere, appreciate aggressive goals, and have superior organizational/time management skills and a make-it-happen attitude
  • This position requires 25-30% travel.
