Support the functional design and implementation of projects and create solutions to meet business objectives and resolve system / process issues Build relationship with stakeholders to identify areas of opportunities, process improvements and data/technology enabled innovations. Drive MVPs / PoCs to validate new solutions Leads and executes Point of Views, delivers MDM strategy assessments and business cases to establish MDM Roadmap Implement data management best practices, rolling out data governance, data quality and health scorecards Build short-term & long-term strategy & plans to enable current & future master data consumption capabilities Understand the as-is business process, and identify areas that would impact integrity of Master data Lead the cross-functional meetings to identify/define the solution Def. Drive business consumption of Master Data and attributes Responsible for business process understanding of data consumption. Drive streamlining of Customer data end to end process flow. Establish SOP (Standard Operating Procedures) to maintain and improve data quality Collaborate with cross functional teams to drive alignment, common goals of the future state and data strategy, plan and approach to achieve the future state Work closely with IT to conceptualize and deliver the roadmap to enhance MDM Capabilities and business consumption of Master data Extensive validation skills of the gathered data for veracity, consistency and completeness Collaborates with IT to define solution approach, clear scope and deliverables, validation and roll-out strategy Coach, supports and trains other team membersCompetenciesCompetencies 8-10 years of industry experience in Data Management practices and methodologies Exposure to one of the mentioned MDM platform is required (Informatica MDM or SAP MDG) Strong data science background (Python, R etc.) Exposure to JIRA, Confluence etc. is preferable Demonstrates strong knowledge of data domains like Product, Vendor, Customer, InstallBase etc. and areas like hierarchy management, customer 360, standardization practices Strong understanding of delivery methodologies, data pipelines management and governance framework Good understanding and working knowledge of Data-As-A-Service framework Proven ability to provide guidance and make decisions that require judgment and consideration of possible impacts Self-directed and proactive approach to tackling problems and leveraging resources Demonstrated process management, testing and document control skills Experience on task prioritization, workload and escalation management Strong verbal and writing skills, project and time management skills, ability to work in teams Experience with identifying improvement opportunities, defining and implementing new processes Good office software skills (e.g., Excel, Access, Visio, PPT), knowledge of relational, object & dimensional databases, and familiarity with statistical packages and analysis techniques Should perform end to end RCA on issues and challenges that are reported by business system users and process owners Exposure towards building playbooks, SOP s, KPI s will be an added advantage Should have excellent knowledge on proactive data analysis in conjunction with business needs Good understanding on all or any two of the domains (Customer, Product and Vendor) Should have Excellent Communication skills, both verbal and written,
