Job Description

Role and Responsibilities:

Implementation, operation and maintenance of the Information Security Management System based on the ISO/IEC 27000, PCI, HITRUST standards.
Reporting Infosec performance to Senior Management.
Preparation and implementation of necessary information security policies, standards, procedures and guidelines, in conjunction with the InfoSec organization.
Design and operation of related compliance monitoring and improvement activities to ensure compliance both with internal security policies etc. and applicable laws and regulations.
Manage external and internal vulnerability assessment for servers, network devices, and endpoint systems.
Update process/ procedure, policy documents based on feedback, changes in the requirement.
Coordinate Information security risk assessments for various functions.
Coordinate and Conduct Business continuity management and IT disaster recovery drills.
Review, Remediate any security alerts or issues.
Conduct periodic security related functions related to nIDS, hIDS, AV, SEIM, Log Management, Vulnerability Scans.
Enforce information security policies and procedures by reviewing security violation reports, investigating possible security exceptions and documenting security controls.
Assist with the research, development, continuous improvement and implementation of security policies, procedures, standards and processes based on compliance requirements and industry best practices.
Research, Recommend and Remediate security issues reported in the security scans or incidents.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

Minimum of 4 years of experience in information security or related field.
Experience with Linux and Windows Servers.
Experience with Firewall, Routers.
Experience with Cloud Services Azure, AWS.
Working knowledge of information security and computer network/system access technologies.
Effective verbal and written communication skills that include the ability to describe highly technical concepts in non-technical terms.
Broad hands-on knowledge of firewalls, intrusions detection/prevention systems, anti- virus software, data encryption and other industry-standard security tools, techniques and practices.
Very good understanding of security controls, monitoring systems and regulatory/business drivers that impact security policies and practices.
CISSP, CEH, OSCP & GIAC certifications are a plus.
Familiarity with technology risk assessment and/or other related regulatory requirements.

Education:

Required: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT or related field with good academic record.
