Job Description

*As an Information Technology (IT) Analyst, you will have the opportunity to work both independently and with a cooperative team on complex projects that may span multiple infrastructure components or applications. You will develop your professional network and leadership skills, assisting in the creation and support of IT Solutions that enable Caterpillar success. Further, you will contribute real value by developing, integrating, and/or supporting in-house and purchased applications or infrastructure solutions in order to solve business problems.Job Duties/Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:* Working directly on application / technical problem identification and resolution, including off-shift and weekend support functions * Participating in integrated testing and user acceptance of application or infrastructure components * Working with vendors on the integration of purchased application(s) and/or infrastructure * Designing and implementing processes, or process improvements, to aid in development and support., *Required Qualifications:

  • Strong hands-on experience in SAP APO Global Available To Promise (GATP).
  • Solid work experience in Rule Based ATP, Backorder Processing, Scheduling, Event Driven Quantity Assignment (EDQA), Product Allocation and specially CRM (OLTP) system order processing techniques.
  • Integration knowledge of SAP CRM,GATP, ECC and SCM systems specific to SPP.
  • Knowledge in SAP SCM APO module configuration/support for SAP SCM 7.0, Demand, Forecasting, Inventory Planning and Distribution Requirement Planning and Procurement.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively communicate and collaboration with both business and technical IT teams.
  • Effectively able to apply structured problem solving skills and available tools to quickly evaluate problems, identify root cause, action plans, impacts and resolution options.
  • Resolving the incidents/problems within the agreed SLA, deliver changes as part of releases.
  • Ability to efficiently multi-task and be self-motivated while working with others.
