Role Overview:As an Infrastructure & Operations Engineering Delivery Manager at Columbia, you will lead a team of infrastructure and network Engineers in the Global Capabilities Center in India. Your primary responsibility will be to work closely with US-based Infrastructure leadership to set and implement infrastructure strategy, ensuring optimal performance of services. Your role will involve overseeing the availability, performance, and modernization of Columbias global infrastructure, including data centers, distribution centers, remote offices, virtualization platforms, storage systems, and hybrid cloud services.Key Responsibilities:- Collaborate with peer leaders to orchestrate a combined global strategy and execute the plan- Lead and develop a team responsible for infrastructure operations, monitoring, and service delivery- Define the roadmap for infrastructure and network modernization, automation, and operational resilience- Drive a culture of accountability, collaboration, and technical excellence- Partner with senior IT and business stakeholders to align infrastructure strategy with corporate objectives- Oversee the reliability, performance, and lifecycle of on-premises and hybrid infrastructure- Ensure infrastructure monitoring, incident response, change control, and problem management processes are implemented- Participate in disaster recovery planning and testing efforts for infrastructure resiliency- Champion automation, configuration management, and repeatable processes- Ensure adherence to Information Security and regulatory controls- Integrate hybrid environments bridging on-premises data centers with cloud platforms- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable and cost-effective solutions- Communicate metrics, performance trends, and risks clearly to leadership and business partners- Serve as the escalation point for critical infrastructure incidents, ensuring transparent communication and rapid resolutionQualifications Required:- 5 years in a management or team-lead role overseeing technical operations teams- 10 years of experience in infrastructure or systems engineering- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field (Masters preferred)- Proven experience managing teams supporting enterprise infrastructure- Hands-on experience with virtualization, Windows Server OS, storage, compute, backup/recovery platforms, network, wireless, firewalls, M365, and Exchange- Knowledge of infrastructure monitoring, incident management, automation tools, and ITSM processes- Understanding of disaster recovery planning, testing, and operational governance- Strong leadership, communication, and vendor management skillsAdditional Company Details:The company aims for DevX and CPX to be more proactive, breaking the line of here, do it yourself for some teams. The infrastructure is Hybrid and SaaS aware, balancing traditional on-premises where necessary. Managing on-call rotations for engineers and focusing on Azure are key priorities.
