Job Description

The Inside Sales Specialist will be a key member of the Sales & marketing team at Eka. He/ She would assist in building the sales pipeline and contributing to the sales effort. The job involves farming, organizing and qualifying leads that will later become prospects and eventually customers. The commodities domain is a niche domain and so understanding the product, market and competition is vital. This is a challenging and interesting exercise and will require the candidate to be alert to the business realities in global markets and carry out the functions accordingly. The candidate can look forward to a very healthy growth path as the company is one of the fastest emerging in this space. Required Experience & Skills: 3 years of total experience, with a minimum of 2 years of inside sales with an IT Company for North American, APAC or European markets. Excellent sales skills with very strong verbal communication ability. Familiarity with cold calling campaigns and follow up techniques. Perseverant, with the ability to establish contact quickly. Team working skills. Ability to prioritize and multi-task. Fluent in written and oral communication, comfortable on calls with prospects across the globe, good at researching information from the net, good at understanding the basics of business in a given industry vertical. Should be dynamic, energetic and should be good at organizing information.,
