Job Description

    A broad knowledge in Instrument and Controls Engineering practices,control theory and procedures. Familiarity with distributed process control (DCS) data historians.Proficiency in programming in c++, c structures and functions.Experience in Control Systems, and PLC or DCS Ladder Logic creations,function block diagrams and AutoCAD. Understands OPC, XML, Modbus and other communication technologies.Experience with SCADA is a plus Drafting Electrical schematic circuits using AutoCAD/solid works. Understands the IEC, ATEX, FM, CSA, NEMA and IP codes.He/she will actively participate in programming of the logics in software.Participate in managing and executing task schedules to ensure timely completion of all assigned projects Develop the scope of work using P&IDs,specifications, and project requirements to specify and complete instrument and control systems Prepares and maintains order specific software engineering documentation for application software,control system software development, system components, architectures, review and confirm code basis for each project Customizes diagnostic and monitoring software to meet project specific requirements Control system Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) Detail hardware required including PLC hardware, software for work orders Assist in the reduction of lead-time for production of instrumentation and control
