Warm Greetings!We are looking for Investigator (CADD- Computer Aided Drug Design Specialist)for a reputed Pharma Company based at Bangalore.Department: Medicinal Chemistry-CADDKey Responsibilities:1. Provide comprehensive and impactful CADD support to drug discovery programs.2. Demonstrate an understanding of full spectrum of project SAR (in vitro biology, DMPK, structural and computational).3. Work in close collaboration with medicinal chemists.4. Present plans, progress and results at CADD, chemistry and project team meetings.5. Identify and implement the best computational techniques to address specific problems.6. Maintain a good awareness of the literature related to the project and the discipline7. Maintain good records and provide data as required.Educational Qualification: PhD in computational chemistry or computer aided drug discoveryTechnical/functional Skills: (Maximum 4-6 Points)1. Proficiency in structure and ligand based computational approaches theory: molecular mechanics and quantum mechanics; Methods: docking, pharmacophore modelling, molecular dynamics simulation, QM calculations.2. Proficiency in statistical methods3. Proficiency in physical organic chemistry4. Proficiency in Python and/or Unix Shell scripting5. Experience in working with interdisciplinary teams such as medicinal chemistry, biology and DMPK scientist6. Experience in disease areas such as oncology, immunology, cardiovascular and fibrosisExperience: 5 10 years of experience in pharmaceutical/Biotechnology industryBehavioral Skills:1.
