Job Description

11-15 years of Solution design and development experience including development of Open Source Software Applications
Proficient in orchestrating a suitable Pre-Sales Solutions response to clients requirements by means of RFP/RFI/RFQ/Proposal creation in conjunction with the solution/dev team and SMEs.
Setup and operate Software s of Open Source IoT/Data exchange/integration PF like FIWARE, Thingboard, WSO2 etc IoT Data Exchange Platforms on public cloud environments as well as using Docker technologies, Knowledge of Digital Platforms, Open Source IoT Data Exchange Platforms is a must
Development of Reference Architectures and Common Information Models for Digital Platforms and Open Source IoT Data Exchange Platform solutions in multiple application domains such as Smart Cities, Smart AgriFood, Smart Energy and Smart Industry
Bring support to development of the roadmap of Open Source IoT Data Exchange Platform components following an Agile approach and Open Source IoT Data Exchange Platform development guidelines
Coaching and mentoring of architects and developers for solutions and Open Source IoT Data Exchange Platform -ready technologies as well as new Open Source IoT Data Exchange Platform developers
Lead and participate in the development of Proofs of Concept and Showcases using Open source and IoT technologies
Create and document automated tests for validation of Open Source IoT Data Exchange Platform components, instances and Powered by Open Source IoT Data Exchange solutions
Automatic configuration and deployment based on Docker/Docker Compose
Develop product and training documentation about Open Source IoT Data Exchange Platform -technical dissemination, training, consultancy and support activities
Support Development teams in fixing software bugs and OSS Community requests
Code, Perform code reviews and give appropriate feedback
Participation in activities leading to adoption of Open Source IoT Data Exchange Platform by relevant standardization bodies, industrial consortiums and organizations
Good experience of Microservice Architecture, Serverless Architecture, RESTful services
Development experience in both Windows and Linux platform
Excellent leadership and communication skills

REST and JSON development
Several programming languages, preferably: Node JS, Enterprise Java, Python and/or C++ development
Container and clustering technologies based on Docker
Familiarity with the following technologies is considered a plus:
Cloud technologies and frameworks, such as OpenStack/AWS
Scrum/Agile principles
IoT protocols (MQTT, LoRaWAN, UL, COP etc.)
NoSQL (MongoDB)
Strong technical writing and documentation skills required
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
