Job Overview TE Connectivity s Engineering Systems Teams conduct analysis, evaluation, design, modification, testing and implementation of enterprise-wide systems across engineering, product management and related functional areas. They perform analysis of systems specifications and use the latest analytical/diagramming tools to represent business/technical processes. TEs Engineering Systems Teams also develop conversion and system implementation plans, prepare and obtain approval of system and programming documentation, recommend changes in development, maintenance and system standards, coordinate system upgrade activity and train user personnel in the conversion and implementation of the system. Roles & Responsibilities BU / FUNCTION DESCRIPTION Enterprise Engineering, Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) and Product Data Management (PDM) solutions have long been a strength of TE Connectivity. The Digital Engineering Solutions (DES) organization is focused on understanding how our businesses design and manufacture products throughout the product lifecycle. Typical process areas they concentrate on include: Portfolio and Program Management, Part/BOM/CAD Data Management, Engineering Change Management, Component and Supplier Management and Product/Regulatory Compliance.
    • Contribute to the team responsible for maintaining and presenting the roadmap of strategic opportunities for our product environmental compliance, sustainability and material capabilities in alignment with business goals and drivers.
    • Collaborate with business champions/key users, engineering solutions personnel and other TE Information Solutions (TEIS) teams to analyze, improve and maintain business processes and solutions
    • Accomplished in the use of Voice of the Customer techniques to ensure the capture of comprehensive requirements
    • Document user requirements for new functionality of solutions
    • Analyze and support the data migration and business process needs of new organizations transforming to use of corporate solutions
    • Communicate with software developers and/or vendors to request enhancements or report application improvements/inefficiencies
    • Coordinate activities for user acceptance, regression and performance testing for responsible projects
    • Support the deployment and adoption of solutions and educate users/management/TEIS personnel on their benefits and limitations
    RESPONSIBILITIES
    • At least 5 years of experience working in a global organization as a business analyst
    • Excellent communication skills
    • Proficient in office efficiency tools: Word, Power point, Excel or equivalents
    • Demonstrated ability to work well within distributed / global teams
    • Ability to travel worldwide
    • Domain knowledge or awareness of product environmental compliance, sustainability, or materials areas
