Qualcomm IT is seeking an IT engineer for the Display team and would be responsible to provide technology solutions for the logon environment to our vast compute clustersResponsibilities include: Version Upgrade (Minor & Major) Perform Integration validation with the IT Ecosystem components viz. Storage, Linux View, ESX, OS Changes, Network Changes. Perform Integration validation with the changes in Engineering tool chain/ workflows Implementation of Global Standards across tDeep technical expertise with design of Linux virtual environment, datacenter server/ applications, architecture, industry wide understanding of Display/ Logon infrastructure, Enterprise Linux administration and troubleshooting (RHEL/ SLES), Virtual Desktop Environment, VMWare tools and technologies replication/ disaster recovery, license management, expertise with server operating systems, storage infrastructure and application integration. Have good customer service experience and can clearly and concisely convey useful information Proven ability to work within a geographically dispersed team and as a self- directed individual contributor.,
