Job Description

Cisco Network Services is hiring a manager to help the team to deliver infrastructure and networking solutions for Cisco employees and partners.Global Extranet Services is going thru Service Transformation, and we are looking for a Service Manager.The Service Manager would be part of Network Premise Organization who would be responsible to manage Extranet Services, its Offerings and its transformation on its alignment to Premise Service Offerings and drive retirement of legacy services.The Service Manager would be encouraged to work with internal and multi-functional teams for service management and transformation. Get mentorship from the Extranet Service Owner & Network Premise Managers to determine the best approach to standardization of the Extranet environment. Also manage Service partner concerns, take care of Service improvement & to do partner advocacy.Work youre doing of my team include: working with Project & Fleet teams, working closely with Global Extranet Service Delivery, look after Continual Service Improvement, coordination service workflow automation and standardization, Partner Advocacy, Simplify Engagement Model, Support model, Fleet Model, Costing model, Business Continuity Planning for the Service Offerings, maintaining Service Metrics and code quality metrics for any applications owned by the service.Minimum Requirements:Typically requires BS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology/Systems or equivalent plus 6+ years applicable experience.2+ years of experience managing a service end to end, including leading change globally and regionally.A proven capability to work with large-scale enterprise services, offshore development centers, network service providers (including during contract negotiation, service enablement and operation).Good conceptual understanding of how LAN & WAN technologies work, and how optimizing using new technologies to align to Corporate standards.Business case / budget analysis and feature comparison as part of Service billing, Network infrastructure critical issues, secure technology / solution rollout.Experience in agile methodologies / SAFe (Leading Safe) is helpful.Familiarity with circuit ordering and delivery, Offshore Development Center Lifecycle, Operational Support Model including change management, problem management would be an added advantage.Why youll love CiscoWe change the World, you will become passionate about your employer and the brand you represent.
