Analyzes requirements, tests and integrates application components; Ensure the system improvements are successfully implemented. Drives unit test automation. Be well versed in the latest development methodologies like Agile, Scrum, DevOps and test driven development. Should also enable solutions that take into account APIs, security, scalability, manageability, usability, and other critical factors that contribute to complete solutions. Usually holds an academic degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Computational Science. Responsibilities include but not limited to. - Work closely with Product owner, Solution owner and Business to understand the business process and needs. - Collaborate with Solution Architects, Design leads to finalize the end to end design from implementation aspects. - Perform custom, standard configurations in the SAP system to satisfy business requirements and ability to comprehend complex business processes and create necessary documentation to capture these processes. - Identify and resolve functional, technical and communication issues arising during implementation/during support phase - Provide guidance to the other technical members for development - Documenting functional/technical designs, test cases and results. - Perform unit/Integration testing and support user acceptance testing. - Should be able to do L3 support / On-call support as requiredQualifications10+ years of relevant engineering experience 4+ years experience in at least 1-2 modules of SAP IBP (Demand, Revenue, SOP and Inventory) Experience in System Integration using CPI-DS Strong business and technical vision Should have domain understanding related to IBP modules and hands-on experience in doing system configurations Ability to work with Business and VS partners to identify business needs and contribute to deliverables by refining, analyzing, and structuring relevant data Logical thinking and problem solving skills along with an ability to collaborate Ability to assess the current processes, identify improvement areas and suggest the technology solutions Certification in CSCP and/or SAP IBP certification is an added advantage Experience working in agile scrum teams Good communication skills.
