Excellent team player who will work with feature team leads and other developers to understand the requirements clearly and deliver with quality using CI/CD process.Primary Roles and Responsibilities:Participates in requirements understanding, module design, high quality deliverables. Shift-left by writing good unit test covering all important code, through unit testing, focusing on security and performance during design and implementation phase itself.Skills Required:
• A team member who is passionate about quality and demonstrate creativity and innovation in enhancing the product, with excellent problem solving, debugging, analytical and communication skills.
• Quickly learn new languages and technologies as required for a successful deliveraly of the product.
• Participate in release planning and iteration/sprint planning meetings
• Ability to write incremental code as part of continuous integration and continuous delivery
• Work closely with peers and other stakeholders to understand the entire end user perspective.
• Ensure performance and scalability are integral part of each delivery.
• Conversant with OOPS concept and MVC architecture
• Hands on experience in Java and Python development is a must
• Hands on experience in Advanced/Object-Oriented JavaScript, Sprinboot, React or AngularJS 5.x+, NodeJS, jQuery
• Experience using Web Pack, Express, Angular CLI, Angular 8+, Unit Testing Frameworks
• Basic knowledge of HTML5, CSS3
• Worked on Integration with Web Services (JSON/REST/SOAP)
• Worked with Jenkins, Jira and Git or similar tools
• Skilled developer who can write clean efficient code and is passionate about code quality, testing and loves to develop new things
• Excellent communicator
• Experienced python software developer in an agile development team
• Or experienced in another language and willing to switch to python
• Broad range of skills and knowledge of shell scripting and network protocols would be advantageous.
Some additional nice to have skills:
• Experience using and interacting with cloud platforms (e.g. AWS)
• Kubernetes, Docker, Containers in general
• Software as a service (SaaS) in general
• Experience of graph databases.
Qualifications:
• Preferably Bachelors degree in Computer Science.
• Minimum 6-9 years of experience with Full-Stack Development, using CI/CD.
• Excellent logical, analytical, debugging and communication skills
• Must have worked on large scale enterprise products (n-tier architecture)
• Experience on Cloud/ SaaS products and Microservices is preferred
• Understanding fundamental design principles behind a scalable application
• Implementing automated testing platforms
• Ability to adapt in existing and new environment
• Ability to learn new concepts and software is necessary
• Experienced in working with Agile development methodology and working with virtual team.
Key Responsibilities:
• Be involved in research and design of new features and well as fixing bugs
• Document design decisions as required
• Write unit tests
• Write and test clean, module, well commented code
• Review code from other developers
• Engage early with QA engineers
• Attend and contribute to your scrum team s daily stand-up
• For more senior roles we expect you to show leadership in the team and the way the product evolves
