Background: Standard Chartered Application Reference Framework (SCARF) drives open source culture with in SCB to enable rapid application development leveraging cloud native technologies, delivering an ecosystem of enterprise connectors and reference data services. It is an enabler for our developers within the Bank to leverage on existing work and to go out to market with application-based solutions much more quickly. We are looking for a Full Stack Developer for SCARF who are proficient on modern Front and back-end tech stack. Your primary focus will be to develop reusable apps such as micro services and components with end to end ownership on the life cycle of the apps (testing, versioning, scalability, bug fixing and driving adoption)Responsibilities -Design and implementation of low-latency, high-availability, and performant apps-Writing reusable, testable, efficient code and documenting the component for reuse-Implementation of security and data protection framework-Integration of data storage solutionsSkills and Qualifications -Solid hands on development experience with core Java (Preferably Java 8 or higher), Core Spring Frameworks and experience in using design patterns-Very strong knowledge on ES6, HTML5, React, Redux, JavaScript MVC patterns / frameworks and CSS pre-processers and strategies for scalable CSS, Babel and Webpack-Deep technical expertise on developing cloud native microservices using frameworks such as Spring boot, Spring cloud- Experience in designing and developing well defined APIs, libraries and reusable components-Understanding the nature of asynchronous programming and its quirks and workarounds-Understanding accessibility and security compliance, user authentication and authorization between multiple systems, servers, and environments-Integration of APIs, multiple data sources and databases into one system-Experience in working on Relation and non-Relation DBs (Progress, Oracle, Cassendra, MongoDB)-Implementing automated testing platforms, unit tests, and CICD-Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git, Bitbucket-Understanding of container platform, such as Docker and Kubernetes- Experience in working and deploying on Cloud AWS (RDS, ElastiCache, EC2, Autoscaling, ALB/ELB, ECS etc.)-Familiar and working experience with Ansible, Jenkins, Terraform,
