Job Description

Competency : R&D-SDNPosition SummaryPerform highly complex analysis, design, development, and verification of Software Defined Networking (SDN) solutions for Data Center and Telco clients. Analyze and apply advanced methods, theories, and research techniques in the investigation of complex networking problems and work with the latest Open Source Controller (Open Daylight) to build cutting edge solutions to redefine Networking!This is a development opportunity in Cloud SDN domain where we are building a telco grade highly scalable and distributed SDN controller based on Opensource ODL (Open Day Light).Opportunity to work with best of minds from Ericsson and ODL community comprising of RedHat, Lumina and many more partners.Target customers of this Controller are leading Telco companies of the world who are moving away from Vendor specific hardware and demanding an opensource product which can be tweaked to their needs.You will,

  • Perform Continuous Analysis and Requirement Handling
  • Develop and Test High Quality Products
  • Perform Trouble Shooting and Customer Support
  • Drive Continuous Improvements of Products and Processes
To be successful in the role, you must have.
  • Experience with SDN controllers, including Open Daylight and SDN protocols, including OpenFlow, NETCONF etc
  • Experience with data modeling languages, including YANG.
  • Experience with Cloud orchestration technologies, including OpenStack
Key qualifications,
  • BE/B.Tech. level in a technical field or the equivalent level of knowledge
  • 5+ experience with Java Development
