Its innovative culture is driven by the passion of its 4240- strong team of scientists who work with clients from around the world to solve their scientific problems, improve R&D productivity, speed up time to market and lower the cost of innovation.Key Responsibilities: Preparing inorganic solutions and management of cylinder requirements for lab scientists Quenching of hazardous and toxic chemicals as per the defined protocols in a safe manner To monitor all the overnight reactions carried out after office hours and documenting the reaction status every day. Also need to update the scientists about any deviations observed after office hours Responsible to supervise all the chemistry labs to ensure lab safety and also the reactions carried out by the scientists after office hours Should be able to handle purification instruments and other equipment To monitor and perform hydrogenation reactions. Attend training on environment, health, and safety (EHS) measures imparted company. Follow environment, health, and safety (EHS) requirements at all times in the workplace ensuring individual and lab/plant safety Prepare SOPs/IOPs/EOPs/OCPs when any new lab activity is identified or existing one requires updation Any other lab responsibilities as indicated by the EHSQ team member/ supervisor / group leader. Understanding and demonstrating responsibility for safety of self & colleagues by following all safety protocols provided by Syngene Adherence to all environment, health, and safety (EHS) policies & standards at all times in the workplace Wearing all PPE as required. Adherence to all procedures related to Syngene s data integrity policies Compliance to Syngene s quality standards at all times.Educational Qualification: Bachelor s Degree in Science (Chemistry)Technical/functional Skills: Experience building and analysing models using various statistical tools for forecasting and optimization.
