Job Description

Junior Project ManagerLocation: BangaloreResponsibilities

  • Design technical developments with the team
  • Implement Agile software life-cycle methodology
  • Develop and maintain technical & business plans which outline project status individual tasks,milestones, completion estimates, and resource allocation
  • Developing project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility
  • Coordinate roll-out of beta and production releases
  • Monitor projects for quality assurance
  • Maintain clear and continuous communication with the customer throughout the life cycle of the project
  • Work with technical team to brainstorm new test ideas for technical projects
  • Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget
  • Ensure resource availability and allocation
  • Develop a detailed project plan to track progress
  • Use appropriate verification techniques to manage changes in project scope,schedule and costs
  • Report and escalate to management as needed
  • Manage the relationship with the client and all stakehold
  • Perform risk management to minimize project risk
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation
Requirements
  • Bachelors degree with 7+ years of technical experience, with hands-on experience in software development and web technologies like Python / Java or alike
  • 3+ years of experience leading & managing mid-size teams in a start-up environment
  • Great educational background, preferably in the fields of computer science or engineering
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills
  • Solid technical background, with understanding or hands-on experience
  • Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills
  • Decision-making, conflict resolution, risk assessment & mitigation and leadership skills
