Within Digital Platform Services, we work closely with the Wholesale Client Onboarding (WCOB) Group to employ strategic regulatory related initiatives ensure business alignment, and undertake process improvements to implement a standardized and consistent client on-boarding service and deliver world-class client experience.Description As an Associate in the Regulatory lead team, you will be part of a global team of seasoned professionals tasked with ensuring the successful design and execution of high priority efficiency and regulatory (AML and non AML) efforts within CIB that impact WCOB KYC related practices and processes. The group reports up to the Operations Transformation Group and is aligned to the business, working closely with the front, middle and back offices on efforts which are cross or multi-product/channel/geography and aligned to a CIB strategy goal. The successful applicant will be part of an international team delivering key aspects of the analysis and implementation phases, detailing business requirements, process flows and current/future state diagrams and implementation of regulatory related policies and practices.The role assumes hands-on leadership roles in these high priority initiatives and works closely with senior LOB business, WCOB and CIB GFCC and Local GFCC management to set strategic direction, problem solve and drive execution and implementation of strategic regulatory initiatives.Your ImpactThe Regulatory team implements solutions to the most complex problems. We develop cutting-edge processes that form the core of our key business, enabling the firm to operate with maximum efficiently, in compliance with regulations and in new markets and products.Key Role and ResponsibilitiesThe team is currently hiring Project Managers who will manage the development of solutions alongside existing team members and colleagues in other technology and business teams.We are responsible for delivering complex projects which have impact across the organisation, e.g. MiFID, FinCEN, and KYC Policies and Procedures partnering with teams across the firm to deliver solutions, driving and implementing the organisational functional and technical strategies.The complexity of the projects require strong analytical, collaboration and leadership skills to design and implement innovative solutions.As a Project Manager, you will partner with colleagues in other teams to design and implement solutions to complex problems.Leadership Drive and implement the regulatory initiative, ensuring coherence across the businesses, risk, operations, GFCC and technology in developing the operating modelProgramme management - Manage multiple projects, produce and maintain project plans, capacity plans, business requirements and adoption plansSubject Expertise Grow understanding of the business, end to end onboarding process and stakeholder environment in order to actively shape the regulatory operating model and challenge assumptionsStakeholder management Influence senior CIB leaders (ED/MD levels) on the regulatory initiatives and agree on adoption roadmap for implementationGovernance Support the governance structure of the programme through ensuring engaged stakeholder member participationRisk & dependency management Identify, document and communicate risks and dependencies affecting deliveries; drive their resolutionChange management - Demonstrate effective controls around the introduction of change and or process improvementsCommunication Ensure all stakeholders are aware and appraised of the operating model as it develops; maintain a living, evolving document to ensure there is clarity of both the current status and next stepsImplementation Deliver process change to an agreed plan in a controlled manner, with alignment to strategic programme milestones where requiredQualifications and Key SkillsWork Experience: Extensive experience in process reengineering, solution design, project execution and leadership. Prior experience in financial services including partnership with business, risk, operations and technology groups across different locationsEntrepreneurial spirit: Demonstrated track record of being a self-starter that seeks to break the status quo and initiate change with both a strong attention to detail with ability to understand the bigger pictureProblem solving skills: Ability to quickly broker solutions and resolve conflict situations using critical thinking based on exceptional analytical skills and a superior ability to highly structure and scope complex problems, apply a range of analytical tools, gain and synthesize insights, and develop solutionsClient management skills: Stakeholder expectation management, influencing and negotiation skills to maintain the momentum of deliveryInnovation skills: Demonstrable experience in design or delivery of an operating model within the financial services sector. Prior use of and familiarity with full range of project management methodologies is requiredCommunications skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills with ability to communicate effectively at many levels of the organizationAnalytical Skills: Ability to work with large data sets and establish trends to form and validate process decisionsTechnical skills: Required: Strong PC skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Preferred: Visio, ProjectProduct Knowledge: Required: Demonstrated knowledge of at least one of the following areas: Treasury Services Products, Investment Banking and Mergers & Acquisitions, Loans, Prime Brokerage, Custody and Fund Services, Future & Options Clearing, Markets trading (e.g. Cash Equities, Credit, Rates, Bonds, Securitized Products, Foreign Exchange, Commodities). Preferred: Know Your Customer and Anti-Money Laundering Due Diligence requirements, customer screening requirements, global regulatory requirements.,
