Job Description

  • Provide technical support for both hardware and software issues our users encounter
  • Monitor the system daily and respond immediately to security or usability concerns
  • Create and verify backups of data
  • Respond to and resolve help desk requests
  • Upgrade systems and processes as required for enhanced functionality and security issue resolution
  • Administrate infrastructure, databases, malware protection software and other processes
  • Review application logs
  • Monitoring of storage & Backup devices and handling incident related to backup.
  • Monitoring of storage & storage allocation, and storage issues.
  • Hardware replacement, coordinating with the vendor
  • Disk expansion
  • Server patching knowledge
  • Installing applications
EXPERIENCE & SKILLS
  • Linux at least 3 years
  • MS Windows 2008 , 2012 & 2016 Server management. AD, DHCP, DNS, GPO etc.
  • MS Cluster Administration, and Windows 2008, 2012, 2016
  • Administration of Hyper-V.
  • Administration VMWare ESXI, vCenter.
  • Disaster Recovery Test and Implementation SRM, Hyper-v replication, Zerto.
  • Preparing health checkup report for servers using N-able monitoring tool
  • Monitoring the serves N-able Monitoring tool.
  • Hardware replacement, coordinating with the vendor
  • Experience with multiple backup technologies, Veeam, Veritas, Acronis, Netbackup
  • Basic knowledge Citrix Xen Desktop, Xen App
Qualifications
  • VMware: VCP
  • Microsoft: MCSE
  • Veeam: VMCE
