Job Description

We are now looking for a Layout Design Engineer!What youll be doing:

  • Layout design involving memory arrays like multi-port register files, RAMs, and/or caches in advanced technologies.
  • Develop layouts for full custom memory designs including logic, bitcells, sense amplifiers.
  • Should have understanding of basic memory layout architecture, optimize layouts for high density, and robustness. Familiarity in various physical verification checks DRC, LVS, DFM, ERC, EM, IR etc.
  • Understanding and working knowledge of good layout practices in lower process nodes like 16nm, 7nm and 5nm.
  • Good understanding of deep sub-micron and DFM/EM/IR issues in layout design.
What we need to see:
  • BE/M-Tech in Electrical & Electronics or equivalent experience
  • 2-5yrs of experience
  • One project cycle experience involving memory layouts from leaf cells to sub-block level
  • Experience in advanced technology nodes like 7 and 5 nanometer would be a huge advantage
  • Good social skills and be an excellent teammate
  • Prior experience with Cadence virtuoso environment. An ability to script in perl, skill language would be a huge plus.
