Job Description

    As a Lead Demand Planner at Danaher, you will be responsible for developing and executing demand planning strategies to ensure accurate forecasting and inventory management. Your role will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams to analyze market trends, customer demand, and supply chain capabilities to drive business success.Key Responsibilities:- Develop and execute demand planning strategies for accurate forecasting and inventory management.- Analyze market trends, customer demand, and supply chain capabilities to identify growth opportunities.- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align on demand planning goals and objectives.- Monitor demand planning metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.- Communicate demand forecasts and inventory levels to key stakeholders and provide optimization recommendations.- Lead and manage the demand planning process, including forecasting, inventory management, and demand analysis.- Develop relationships with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely and accurate product delivery.- Conduct regular reviews and analyses of demand planning processes and suggest improvements.- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in demand planning to enhance processes and strategies.- Train and mentor team members on demand planning processes, tools, and techniques.- Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to understand product demand and develop customer-centric strategies.- Monitor and adjust inventory levels to meet changing demand and minimize excess inventory.- Identify cost-saving opportunities through efficient demand planning and inventory management.- Communicate potential supply chain disruptions and work on developing contingency plans.- Provide regular updates and reports on demand planning performance to senior management.Qualifications Required:- Bachelors degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or related field.- Minimum 5 years of experience in demand planning or supply chain management.- Exceptional communication and problem-solving skills.- Strong attention to detail and proven track record of driving results.Danaher, as an Equal Opportunity Employer, values diversity and strives to create an inclusive environment for all employees.
