Job Description

Shared Data Layer (SDL) is a cloud native subscriber repository being developed for the next generation 5G networks. A large suite of automated tests (functional, robustness and performance) tests has been created to ensure that every software change is tested rigourously. We are looking for experienced engineer(s) who help contribute to this suite, analyze runs, create test plans and ensure coverage.DEVOPS Software Engineers with good software design comprehension skills with test driven development expertise in automation tools and scripting required along with test expertise in testing of key security requirements of application deployed in VNF/CNFCompetent in managing manage OpenStack, VMWare deployments with CI expertiseOwn automation execution objectives and develop team to deliver expected business outcome. Skills Required: Hands-on expertise in Cloud native application deployment and developing automation FW to fulfil E2E product usecases, for early developer feedback and to drive process to manage the automation release cycleProficiency in Robot frameworkProficiency in Python, Shell scripting with Perl knowledgeObject-oriented programming exposure, Java programming conceptsProficiency in GIT (Source control) and CI tools - Jenkins / Hudson6Proficiency working in a Linux environmentExpertise in encrypted access protocol testing SSL/TLS ensuring application securityExpertise in various VNF application key security requirements is a MUSTExperience in LDAP/HTTP2 with TCP/IP, DNS, TLSExpertise in test design methodologiesProficient in tools like Wireshark, Tcpdump, Ethereal Experience with OpenStack, VM Ware (installation, maintenance, troubleshooting)Should have knowledge in Containers, Docker, Ansible, Kubernetes, helmCompetencies Required:Participate in feature refinement, plans/writes test specification, designs test plans such that there is fault prevention, execute automated test cases, analyze the test failures, reports software issues and documents items in own area.Should contribute to Test design discussions, Test Reviews, workshops, Demos and Feature grooming on daily basis, coordinating with feature experts or specification teamsShould have strong experience analyzing the features and designing test cases Should always look for improvements in testing practice and familiar with learning process like EDAShould have good experience in analysis, design and development test automation frameworkTeam-player, self-motivated and independent, responsible for quality of all the deliverables within time & cost.Experience in functional, non-functional, performance and security aspects of software testingShould actively drive all aspects of system quality and processes, and develop and execute Tests, scripts and plans (manual and automated)Expertise in Testing methodologies and debugging skillsDoes technical problems isolation and resolution.Understanding of performance & robustness aspects of telecom core productsEstimates work amounts in own process area.Writes test requirements, test specifications and other guiding documentation for R&D from technical area point of viewStrong Project/Product Development Experience in an Agile Scrum Team (Kanban / SAFe)Adaptability and flexibility to work with others and contribute to project with stretch in critical times of project life cycleMust display a high degree of willingness and ability to understand a new business domain, a new product, the product s business and technical underpinnings.Facilitation of open communication and discussion between stakeholders is required.Contribute to R&D efficiency improvementsDemonstrates independence and raises innovative ideasQualifications: 5 to 10+ Years of Experience in SW TestingDegree in BE/BTech/MTech/MCA,
