Job Description

    Job Description SummaryEngine Clearances is a critical domain for aircraft engines as it impacts the productdesign from conceptual design thru engine certification and entry into service. The mainobjective of the engine clearances team is to develop an architecture/product designensuring safety & reliability while finding anoptimal balance between performance, weight & cost. The team is critical to realizingAerospaces noble vision in developing next generation RISE (Revolutionary Innovationfor Sustainable Engine) engines.The main responsibilities for this role include, but not limited to, perform accurateclearances analyses & pre-test prediction through whole engine modeling to complementmechanical design, contributetowards technology maturation, advance state of the art in predictive methods andcollaboratively work across multiple teams, organizations & global sites to shareknowledge base.Job DescriptionRoles and ResponsibilitiesIndependent execution with direction from experts on analysisand design of clearancesfor nextgen sustainable engine programs to develop technologies meeting ambitiousperformance & environmental goals. Understand key business drivers, contribute towards developing program plan anddeliver impactful business outcomes. Integrate work of self/team with other teams andcontribute to broader business objectives. Contribute to solving tough technical challenges, as an integral part of a collaborativeglobal team. Propose innovative solutions and proactively protect competitive advantage byfiling IP. Present in global reviews with peers/experts, Chief Engineers Office and Systemsorganization. Ensure proper documentation of technical data consistent with engineering policies andprocedures. Good interpersonal skills, flexibility to work on a wide variety of problems/programs ofinterest to Aerospace. Participate on teams assigned to address specific organizational initiatives. Continuous learning and constant drive for continuous improvement of tools/processes. Contribute to/promote a culture of inclusion & diversity
