Responsibilities & Key Deliverables1. Transforming inventions to Intellectul Property (IDFs to value IP) - Able to work independently on IP products and guide, mentor and review others work. Able to work with COE Heads and Product / Platform Heads to identify IP and Innovation and drive IP strategy. Independently work with inventors across groups, understand invention and drive IP identification and creation. 2. Using IP Analytics to drive strategy and innovation - be familiar and updated with IP tools like Derwent, Questel and techniques like Mining. Exposure to Innovative Problem solving techniques like TRIZ is desirable. 3. Patent Drafting, Filing and Office Actions Response - good with drafting and reviewing Office Actions, working with Law firms to drive IP activities. knowledgeable in Indian Patent law and US, European Patent law a plus. 4. Working on product clearance in adherance to product gateway release cycle - work with Business and Product teams to understand their needs, identify IP across product development cycle and deliver as per gateway compliance 5. Able to drive training and awareness building needs on IP with all stakeholders.Experience11-14 yearsIndustry PreferredAuto and/or Farm, R & D, ManufacturingQualificationsB.E / B.Tech (minimum); M.S. or M.Tech is a plusGeneral RequirementsGood technical background and understanding - both engineering and auto and farm vertical Good knowledge on IP and Patent Law Good knowledge and skills on Innovation Systems like TRIZ problem solvingIP Landscapes & Analytics, IP Search methodologies, Patent Drafting skills, Patent Valuation.
