Job Description

    This role is for one of the Weekdays clientsWe are seeking a highly skilled Lead Frontend Developer with expertise in React.js and proficiency in Python to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading frontend development efforts, building scalable and high-performance web applications, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver best-in-class user experiences. This role requires a strong foundation in modern frontend technologies, design patterns, and performance optimization strategies.Key Responsibilities:
    • Lead the frontend development team, ensuring best practices and coding standards are followed.
    • Architect, design, and implement high-performance, reusable, and modular UI components using React.js.
    • Collaborate closely with backend developers to integrate Python-based APIs seamlessly.
    • Optimize web applications for speed, performance, and accessibility.
    • Work with UI/UX designers to translate design mockups into interactive and responsive web interfaces.
    • Drive the adoption of modern frontend technologies and frameworks.
    • Ensure cross-browser compatibility and adherence to web standards.
    • Mentor junior developers and conduct code reviews to maintain high-quality codebase.
    • Implement automated testing and CI/CD pipelines for frontend applications.
    • Stay updated with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in frontend development.
    Required Skills & Experience:
    • 6-11 years of experience in frontend development, with a strong focus on React.js.
    • Proficiency in Python and experience working with Python-based APIs.
    • Deep understanding of JavaScript, ES6, TypeScript, and modern frontend frameworks.
    • Hands-on experience with Redux, React Hooks, and component-based architecture.
    • Knowledge of RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and WebSockets.
    • Strong understanding of frontend build tools such as Webpack, Babel, and NPM/Yarn.
    • Experience with performance optimization techniques, including lazy loading, code splitting, and caching.
    • Familiarity with testing frameworks like Jest, Mocha, or Cypress.
    • Proficiency in version control (Git) and CI/CD pipelines.
    • Solid understanding of security best practices for frontend applications.
    • Ability to work in an agile development environment and manage multiple projects effectively.
    Nice to Have:
    • Experience with server-side rendering (Next.js).
    • Familiarity with Cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
    • Experience with GraphQL and Apollo Client.
    • Knowledge of Docker and containerized applications.
    • Contributions to open-source projects or a strong GitHub portfolio.
